Brad Tapson: Brad Tapson Design was founded on the principle of finding the right balance for every project. A graduate of Dalhousie University's Master of Architecture Program and a member of Toronto's Net-Zero Architects Network, Brad brings to the table more than a decade of experience in high-performance design and a passion for creative problem-solving. BTD brings sustainability to every project by focusing on simple strategies, employing context-sensitive interventions, and using the right amount of the right materials in the right place. 

Rick Zytaruk: Rick is the CFO of Tooketree Passive Homes, manufactures prefabricated panels for high performance, healthy and environmentally friendly homes. Motivated by his desire to leave a safe planet to his four grandchildren, and inspired by his daughter who had been constructing and advocating for green and natural buildings for a decade, Rick exited retirement in his seventies to take on a more-than-full-time leadership role at Tooketree. The former Consulting Partner at IBM wanted to help change the construction industry for the better, and demonstrate that our homes can be energy efficient, non-toxic, and store carbon to combat climate change.

Jill Lock: Jill Lock is passionate about making Net Zero homes a reality for every homeowner. As co-founder of Homes to Zero, she brings a unique perspective, combining her journey of transforming the homes she’s lived in to Net Zero with her extensive background in data and technology. After a career spanning over 20 years in data and banking, including a postgrad in data science from MIT, Jill now channels her expertise into helping others achieve sustainable living. A self-proclaimed 'lentil weaving hippy' and a registered energy advisor, Jill bridges the gap between expert architects and homeowners, proving that anyone can achieve Net Zero.

Victor Hyman: Victor Hyman is the executive director of ClimateCare, Canada’s largest co-operative of residential HVAC contractors. Before joining ClimateCare in August 2020, he spent nine years in various management roles with a leading national HVAC wholesale distributor and five years managing a Toronto area HVAC contractor. Victor is involved in several industry volunteer roles. He is currently the chair of the HRAI Policies and Priorities Committee, and has previously served as a member of the CMPX Show Committee, a the HRAI Committee on Emerging Trends in HVACR, was chair of the HRAI GTA Chapter, the Industry Co-Chair of National Resource Canada’s Market Transformation Roadmap Space Heating Expert Team, and has been a guest contributor to Mechanical Business Magazine and HRAI’s In The Air Newsletter.
